Ohio History Connection and Outlook Media invite you to bring in your photos, documents and objects to be digitized for a special LGBTQ Community Day on Saturday, August 20th, at the Ohio History Center.  This project is designed to preserve and share the stories of Ohio’s LGBTQ community by digitizing materials that represent the LGBTQ experience in Ohio.

Community day will run from 10:00AM-5:00PM.

Community Day is open to the public and is free of charge.  This day will include:

  • A display of current GOHI collection items
  • Exhibitors from other Ohio LGBTQ organizations
  • Special curator talks
  • Living history performances
  • Hands-on activities for families

If you are not ready to part with your historic materials, Community Day is a great opportunity to share your stories with the world!

To make an appointment to scan your items, or for more information about LGBTQ Community Day, please call 614.297.2663 or visit www.ohiohistory.org/GOHIDay
